Excitement for Christmas is mounting at MVS – the biscuit tin is full of mince pies and every day is Christmas jumper day!!

Here’s a wee reminder of our opening hours over the festive season. Please remember to order any repeat prescriptions with us in plenty time to allow us prepare your pets’ medications.

One of our very kind clients knitted us some fabulous headbands earlier this year. With the weather taking a colder turn these last few days we’ve been very grateful for them.

It’s business as usual

We’re delighted to have now returned to our usual opening hours after the restrictions enforced by COVID-19. In line with the current guidelines however, we continue to request that clients remain outside the practice. 

If you have an appointment please make yourself known to the receptionist on arrival by knocking, waving or sounding your horn. The responsible vet will come outside to collect your pet from you and to have a discussion with you about your concerns/requirements. Pets will be taken into the practice for examination/treatment before being returned to you at the door. 

For our farm clients, or anyone requiring repeat prescriptions, please call ahead so that these can be prepared for your arrival to minimise waiting times and the gathering of people in the car park.

Thank you to all our wonderful clients once again for helping us to continue operating our business in a manner that ensures animal welfare whilst simultaneously minimising the risks to our staff and yourselves. Your cooperation at all times is greatly appreciated.
